Update to the wish list - seeing the doctor
I finally got fed up enough with the laundry list of low level symptoms - and worried enough - to call the doctor. Since my teacher is in the ICU with pneumonia. I got a clerk right away, and she got me a doctor's appointment for the next morning which was yesterday. I got an exam and an EKG.

What I have is a viral inflamation of the where the chest cartilage mets the ribs. Annoying, and it's slowed me down enormously, but not dangerous. Treatment: take life easy, apply heat, tylenol, etc - the usual palliative measures. And yes, a cat resting on my chest while I nap is an excellent palliative measure. Felitherapy.

This sounds like costochondritis which I first
heard of when my mother-in-law had a siege of
it a few years ago.

Get well soon.

Good for you for seeing the doc.

I hope you're feeling better soon. Try time-release vitamin cd to strengthen your immune system.
